About Team Love
We are one of the South-West’s leading event production companies, working with both smaller scale commercial events and larger projects, but mostly responsible for cultivating and designing our own large-scale events- such as Love Saves The Day, Love International, Breaking Bread, Simple Things, and The Downs. We are also responsible for our own venue, an established cornerstone of Stokes Croft nightlife – the Love Inn, which has recently opened its doors again after having to close during the pandemic.
We cut our teeth in the Bristol music scene, throwing parties in renowned clubs and venues, and have grown to curating and producing stages through to entire festivals for the past decade, throwing one-off shows in unforgettable locations and branching into Europe. Our skill set has grown and expanded alongside this, and as a team, we recognise the value in supporting and embracing each other’s creativity and passions.
About Big Team CIC
Big Team is Team Love’s community interest initiative, established in March 2019 to develop and deliver locally focused projects for positive social change.
Big Team’s core goal is to open up opportunities for people in the city who have traditionally been excluded from the festival and events industry, starting with our own company and events. Our long term goal is to make events and the events industry more inclusive, by diversifying the groups who create, contribute to and attend them.
We aim to provide work, training and development opportunities for people who want to pursue creative careers – whether as artists, event producers or any other job role within the sector. We are particularly interested in supporting those who would usually face social or economic barriers to access, and our priority is to address issues of underrepresentation in the sector’s workforce and audiences.

The role involves large amounts of admin, but also requires an ability to be hands-on and practical. Areas covered will include (but may not be limited to) the following:
- Collation of event information and documentation using spreadsheets and other online systems
- Dealing with enquiries on the phone and email
- Contacting suppliers and crew to communicate and collect information

We strive to make these roles as fulfilling and valuable as possible and if our interns have particular areas that they wish to develop, we strongly encourage them to discuss this with us in order for us to provide the most relevant experience wherever possible.
There is also the potential for the placement to include a secondment to a partner organisation to broaden experience. Full details would be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
We are ideally looking for a person who has a demonstrable interest in festivals and/or events (eg. has perhaps been a steward / volunteered for other roles at festivals or has been involved in the organisation of events at their school, college or in the local community).
This opportunity will suit someone who will approach the placement with a can-do attitude and a desire to learn, who enjoys working as part of a team, is personable, pro-active, reliable, a good communicator and who is more than happy to work hard in order to facilitate other people having a great time.
We are looking for someone who is conscientious, with attention to detail and who is keen to be involved in all aspects of the event – throughout the planning stages, the day itself and wrapping up afterwards.
Existing general admin and computer skills are required for this placement. We ask that all candidates have solid experience in using Excel & Word.
